FAQs

Why hire you as my photographer?

Photography is more than just a technical skill — it's the art of seeing the extraordinary in the ordinary. In the controlled environment of a studio or the unpredictable energy of an on-location event, my goal remains the same: to tell your story with authenticity and intention.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My travel fee is a standard $50 for anywhere in NYC. Outside the boroughs its $75. Out of state, let's talk.

Client covers 50% of the studio fee for studio rentals.

And in terms of discounts related to the actual shooting fee... most people don't read this but, don't be afraid to negotiate pricing if you need to.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

First we go over the specifics of the shoot and what you're looking for, who's being photographed, location, time/date, etc.

Afterwards I will:

  1. Send you a quick photography contract to make it official
  2. Send an invoice you can pay online (just the 50% retainer required to secure the date)
  3. Create a mood board with some example poses we can use as references (if applicable)
  4. Send you some portfolio samples based on the type of shoot

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Completely self-taught, and more importantly always learning. I'm a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), the highest industry standard body for photographers in the United States.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Individuals, agencies, small and large companies, NGO's, you name it.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

First started as a part-time event photographer for an NGO with some portrait work here and there, then took a break for a year or two!

Afterwards I was drawn back into the field, started my business, and focusing now on portrait, fashion, lifestyle, and event niches.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I covered New York Fashion Week in 2026. It was four straight days of 12-hour runway shooting, backstage sessions, and more. Truly a test of how a high-paced industry runs and the kind of workload and process needed to have been selected for Press/Media access. Loved every second of it.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Don't worry about anything technical or creative. Whether it's lighting, posing, event workflows and everything in between I'll handle it.

I've done newborn shoots in a 1-bedroom apartment and 500-member events in live venues. I've shot first time boudoir, headshot, and elopements as well as professional models, musicians, and six-figure entrepreneurs.

Let me handle the details and WOW you with the final product :)

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

  • What kind of end product or style are you looking for?
  • How many photos are you looking to receive?
  • Do you have any reference images you like?
  • Do you have any budget constraints?
  • Do you have any time constraints?

Visuals resonating with sophistication and impact.
